first ride on my new 796 in RED

Let me just say I'm not new to bikes. This was so much fun! Next to all the other bikes it sticks out and looks so much better than the Jap bikes. Coming from both a road background, and a motocross background the bike was exactly in between. I wanted stick my leg out motocross style around the corners and then other times my knee dragger....I think Knee dragging felt the most comfortable. The pull on the 796 seems super good and wheelies are so easy. The quality is far better than what I'm used to as well. What can I say I'm in love! Amore!

congrats on the bike. Im coming from an 08 Yamaha R6S. The bike is great, but its extremely uncomfortable. Im looking to get a 796 within the next month. How do you like the comfort level of the bike, riding position wise? The main reason why Iam looking at the Hyper is because of the more upright dirt bike style position

couch

It's so comfortable I have no idea why anybody complains about the ergo's. I think some people are just out of shape? My riding will mainly be in the city so it's the perfect urban assualt vehicle if that's your intended use. The only thing you may miss coming off the R6 is the nice sweepers through corners and that screeming RPM thing. Other than that the HYPER is hands down the better weapon of choice! It's so easy to ride!
