BTW, I felt an improvement with engine smoothness when I switched to NGK iridiums(3k miles). But then again my stock plugs had carbon all over them from different exhaust system projects.

I put the brisk plugs in my Sport Classic DS 1000. Made a noticable improvement over the NGK plugs

Wow, i would've lost a bet on that one. Evo isn't a Dual Spark? Had to google it. On same topic, I am guessing the bigger EVO oil cooler will fit the older 1100's?

Sorry to be the 'Grinch' here, but my experience on the dyno is that I've been screwed more than a buch of times with fine-wire plugs.

They can short with no visual evidence, especially with leaded fuel, so my advice is ; save your money!

Expensive spark-plugs and fuels will never compensate for a lack of tuning.
Yes, they may effect some change, but it ain't tuning.

So no problem since you haven't been able to buy/run leaded gas since -86! ('Pretty' sure he wasn't intending to use racing fuels... Would suck especially with the short range our bikes get!)
