Full Termi just installed
So I just had the full Termi exhaust installed (by dealer) on my HM EVO SP. Although it obviously sounds the nuts, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in the overall ridability. Low rpm (low throttle input) riding isn't good...wasn't very good in stock mode either so that isn't too surprising. More bothersome is what I consider excessive popping when closing the throttle (decel). Technician seems to be in agreement and claims that new DP maps are supposed to be released in the next few weeks.
Can anyone verify this information? For those with a similar setup, is what I'm experiencing "normal"? It just seems to me that a modern fuel-injected bike should be better sorted than this.

Yes, this is true. I ride an EVO SP and the fueling with the Termi race system is an "opportunity area". I've been following with DNA tech support for months on this. Here is the latest response dated 4/12...

I wanted to follow up with you to let you know that “DMH in Italy received the new firmware update and map but were unhappy with the performance. It was sent back to the company that develops the software for a revision and they will have another map to test in about 2 weeks. The earliest we will have an updated map will be about 4 weeks out now.”
This is coming directly from our Parts and Accessories Business Manager. I will follow up with him again on your behalf in another 4 weeks. I know this is not the answer you were looking for, but we will not forget about you. As soon as I hear back, I will follow up with you.

I think what you are hearing from the dealer tech is correct. Let's use this thread to post updates/latest news when the fix is available. Hopefully it is soon.

I am sorry to hear Your exhaust is popping excessively on down-rev, hopefully You get that sorted out sooner than later...as for the low-rpm concern... Isn't it bad for these motors to be fudding around in low-rpm anyway? Maybe this is coming from riding two-strokes all Mi lyfe, but I make a college effort to keep the revs high at all times, as I am under the assumption that the excessive vibration caused from bogging these bikes would be bad.

I know what you mean and on wide open roads it's a non-issue. However, for those of us living in the city where traffic is a constant, it's just difficult to be smooth. I find myself riding in a gear higher than I would like just to help smooth things out. I understand an aftermarket throttle tube helps in this regard so that may be my next purchase.
I'll certainly post up as soon as I hear anything regarding the new maps...

So am I getting this correctly...
Ducati have, after a year and a half after the introduction of the 'EVO', still no software for what must be the most common exhaust for these bikes?
Doesn't the 'new' model exhausts come with a new CPU like the 'old' ones did?
