Making the hyper super-comfortable
I have used a lot of adjectives to describe the Hyper, comfort has never been one of them. Quite by accident I discovered how to make it the most comfortable bike ever.
1. Buy a 1995 916 Monoposto.
2. Spend a couple of days thrashing your favorite back roads, scaring the whimpering s**t out of yourself and destroying what's left of your back.
3. Jump on the Hyper, run the same roads.
It's magic! Suddenly the Hyper is the quietest, most comfortable bike you've ever been on.
Best money I ever spent on the Hyper. Your results of course may vary.

Yeah, 50 miles on my R1100R would eat my butt to the point that the Hyper feels good, but it doesn't last....
Not sure why no one makes a decent stock 'cycle seat.

I'm looking into rear sets so I can change my leg position a little. The sargent seat made a huge difference on my butt.. But the ergos on the duc performance seat didn't cause my knee issues I am having with my sargent.
Scout.. I'm in Indy too.. shoot me a pm if you want to ride.

Personally I find the stock seat on my Evo SP really comfortable. I changed to the DP seat and its much harder, but puts you in a better position. Eventually I will look into rearsets for it, those pegs are a bit too low and too far forward.

I bought mine from a guy who realized he was trying to turn his Hyper into a Multistrada, so he bought a Multistrada. One of the reasons I bought it was because of the upright seating position, as with a bad back and left shoulder/elbow, the Hyper is VERY comfortable. I do have the Sargent seat however, with the stock seat my ass would be dead in 20 minutes.

I put a custom seat from Renazco on my Hyper and it is extremely comfortable.
Hazzbin, if you're in Atlanta you should check out the WildDucs. I've been on a couple of rides with them and they are a great bunch of guys. Send me a PM if you have any questions.

Thank you. I've seen their website and will join at some point. Do they allow non-Ducs on rides? My best riding buddy rides a Buell (it's the only thing low enough for her 95 pound frame), and I'd hate to leave her out.

I believe to join you need to be a Duc owner, but they do allow other bikes on rides. I'll send you a PM.
