Wtb tires hypermotard 2010 evo
Any good tire deals out there guys? Who likes what tire on the hyper? I know that you can get away with less tire on the hyper than the super bike... Im looking for something soft and sticky but not out landish in price and something will give a little life on the tire... suggestions or links appreciated also if anyone has extra sets there looking to sell i could be interested in that also...
thanks... email me or text me..

Q2's and BT016's seem to be the best values. Both great tires.

+1, also the Bridgestone 003's are good, but all these do wear out fairly quickly.
Sooo now your keeping your Hyper? Aloha Alex

Q2's are the best choice for the price. just as good as bt003RS and cheaper.
next level of tire is dunlop ntecs but thats a track tire only and wont last long at all.
i must say im very impressed with the Q2's and for 200 to your door you cant beat it
motomummy has there for 200 shipped to anywhere in the usa
120/70f 180/55 r combo
in motorcyclist they rated them the best for the buck in the 2010tire shoot out for a street/track tire
nothing touches ntecs for a track tire

So what's up Josh?
Are you keeping the Hyper now? How many miles have you put on it so that you need a new tire?
I'm a Pirelli fan. They worked the best for me when I was racing. Very predictable and for me that is important as I like to ride "loose" so traction feedback is a must.
If it were me, and it will be in the next month or so, I would go with the Rosso on the rear and a Rosso Corsa on the front.
My Rosso rear that I have now already has 3,200 miles on it and probably 25% life left. I won't push it past 4,000 miles before I change it though.

Conti Sport Attack or Conti Race Attack Street. I like them, cheaper then Michelin or Pirelli and really good.
And no, I dont work for Conti. I just like them.

Nobody asked the important question: how do you ride? A tire for my hyper is different than one that should be used on someone who tracks or races their hyper. I have been using track takeoffs, but I would be using a combo of Pilot power 2ct front and power road 2ct rear. I only have the hyper on the track once a year and I have my own tire machine. So, I put on a sticky set before a track day.
Otherwise, I can't see blowing through a rear every 1500 miles street riding. I'm as big of a hooligan as the majority of the bunch, BTW.
