What needs to be done to get the Hyper EVO smooth at low RPM's

I know its probably in here somewhere but after doing a search I can up with a couple of threads but none seem accurate and im thinking maybe cause the EVO is still relatively new with the new ECU it carries.
I have been told the fatduc works but unfortunately they dont make one for the EVO.
My bike is currently stock as far as exhaust goes so im not really looking to get more power but rather just smoother, although power wouldnt hurt. I would like to be able to cruise easily at low RPM's, below 4-5k.

Any concrete solutions yet. Im also asking cause I noticed that the PCV finally came out for the EVO and wanted to hear some feedback, or maybe just reflashing the ECU would be enough, but the problem with that is I dont know of any shop near NYC that does that.

Any info/help?

dropping a tooth in the front on a stock ECU/exhaust hyper will only make it more jumpy at low RPM.

the problem is the inherently lean air/fuel mixture of the stock ECU. the solution is to splurge for one of the DP exhaust systems (i personally recommend the 2-1 system), install all the bits and pieces, take the bike to your local ducati dealer (or find someone with a VSDT or similar tool) to reset the TPS.

I remember when my 08 was bone stock, adding the Termi 2-2 kit (with the dedicated DP ECU), the bike was smoother at the bottom end.

Adding a 14t at the front is helping, but not really solving the problem. The engine rev goes up quicker and you spend less time in the low rpm.

Tho, if what you want is cruising like a 65 yo would do in the 2500 rpm range, well you need to add 2 more cylinders.

Yeah Chouch is right, a tooth down only gets the speed down into the good RPM range..
Even tuned w/ DP ECU they like to rev...

I talked with my local dealer and he mentioned that they are still having problems with getting the new Siemens system to run well. I don't know the details but this issue was mentioned several times as a reason to stay away from the new Evo motors. I guess with anything new, it takes a while to figure it out.

Then this conversation was related to using a Monster (Evo/non-Evo) as a donor for a SS project.

Check out the FatDuc manipulator. That will trick the ECU into running richer, works on my 08. I know mine isn't a Siemens but it couldn't hurt to PM him.

my evo sp run sweet even in stock trim....no stalling or surging...but i needed extra oooomph

i have just installed a full zard exhaust and wasp puk kit using a pc5, this entire set up cost me less than what the termi kit would have cost

this bike is so smooth and pulls like a 13 year old boy
