Laid my baby down.

Hey Guys,

Greetings from Cambodia again!

This Saturday at about 6:15 in the morning took my 2009 hyper S out of the house about 40 metres , machine was still cool so wasn't fast maybe 30kmph when i got hit by 2 punks on a scooter!! Got thrown off the bike, whacked my head , blanked out for about 5min, hurt my back woke up to see the punks had run off and no sign of them, bystanders acting dumb cos i'm a foreigner....anyway , that is the life in cambodia i guess, the price we pay for no speed limits and radar traps.

Anyway so getting to the bike, broke my pazzo clutch lever at the joint, seems like it's plastic and irrepairable... so if any one knows part numbers for this would be great help.

left footpeg bent
LEft side disc bent- apparently theres a fix ... do let me know if this is safe
Left side rear fairing for the exhaust completely smashed
Left mirror and handguard broken and ripped of the handlebar
bent fork
bent handlebar

Most of this i can fix here, Although on closer inspection of the bike i see a small dent in the trellis where the triple clamp that holds the shocks has hit the frame, Need to know if this is is ok to ride with or dangerous? Will post pictures on here soon. My back is pretty bunged up so has been hard to move for these few days.

Also if any of the sponsors , part shops on this board want to put together a package of the parts in need for the fix and send it over to cambodia as one big box would love to hear from you. P.M me and will send you my email.

For those of you who dont wear your helmet for coffee runs.... Trust me its not worth it.

Ride safe and have fun guys.... Just needed to rant to fellow Tistas

lucky they weren't Khmer Rouge!
I can ride in the madness of Japan but would never ride in places like VN or Kampuchea!

Glad you are going to recover Aegus! That just sucks they took off and didn't stick around to see if you were ok. Hope you can get your Hyper back to it's former glory without too much difficulty.

Two of my friends had 1 mph accidents on their Harleys with no helmets and broke their skulls by just falling over... just crazy how things happen. Protect that melon amigo!!!

Thanks guys for the kind words, Fatcobra : sent you a p.m. appreciate it!!

Just on the frame the dent is about 2 mm about the size of a coffee bean, is there a fix ?, is there any real danger? or should i just leave it be and get street cred for battle scars

I don't think you can fix it without cutting and welding. If it isn't affecting the handling/geometry of the bike, why bother.

Ride it.
