The one shoe is an Aussie thing........I'm doing it as well. Same foot too.
The reason for my fashion statement is that as I was moving my S4rs in the garage yesterday while wearing minimal footwear and lifting the rear and pulling it towards me so I could wheel it out, the tip of the side stand caught under the end of my big toenail. At first I thought I'd put the side stand down on my big toe till I looked down to see the toenail at 90 degrees to my toe.......OUCH......so I ripped it right off and hence am now shoeless and will not be riding till I can get a decent boot back on.
THROB......THROB.....THROB......

if you search my user name theres all my mods in detail
but i have had my exhaust made by a freind here in oz (he is a specialsed exhaust builder) 304 stainless from memory he custom made the sleeves and flanges all from sctratch , and we used QD mufflers from Moto-wheels, TPO beast R stacks, and a pro-tune map O2 delete's and custom Map..she is making 11Hp more than std now 97.11 Rwhp and 101.66Nm ..power to wait is now the same as my old SXV550 race bike ! 1hp for 1.69...the bike absloutley rips now...waiting for a new map with some more fueling at WOT keen to see if we can squeeze a few more HP ....

Reminds me of a nursery rhyme I wrote years ago, way before you could look like a knot head on YouTube.
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John
Went to bed with his stockings on;
One shoe off, and one shoe on,
Diddle, diddle, dumpling, my son John.
Sincerely,
Mother Goose
