The season begins...

I live in Alaska, I bought a Hyper in December, off of Ebay.
Dis-aassemble to paint sub frame, rear sets, install CF fairings, add cams ecu, drilled airbox, on Saturday I finished the paint and re-assembled the bike.


As I went outside to hop in my truck this morning I see that its 36 degrees, that means no ice on the roads. So I throw on my gear and head to work.
One block from work this happens:




Ive only put 10 miles on it.

4 point $160 ticket for careless driving.

This bike is so fun, but I dont know if I have the restraint to keep it.

I have grown up a little, had this happened 10 years ago I would not have stopped.
Didnt even think of running this time, maybe theres hope.

I've watched a couple episodes of "Alaska State Trooper", man the law enforment looks ugly up there. I keep thinking Alaska is huge and they must only patrol a small part but they have no sense of humor.

I always thought Alaska was a place where men were men and you had some freedom but the evidence is to the contrary. It seems you may as well live in the People's Republic of California.
