Have the same ASV's on my Hyper, best lever ever. You may already know but they won't fit with the stock handguards without modification (your avatar suggests you may still have stock handguards), FYI.

Thanks PKM...I've read a lot of good things about them, so I'm excited to get them on.

I do still have the stock handguards so I know I have a little potential tweak, but that's fine. I read a few posts here from folks who said they didn't have to change/mod anything and some who said they had to remove the plastic cover inside the guard. Either way, I'm not that worried.
Do you still have the stock handguards? Or did you ditch them completely?
Have a good one!

I am one of the apparent few that like the look and functionaility of the stock guards/mirrors and in Chicago they help protect my hands a bit from the wind/cold.

The ASV's are in a class all their own, the adjustability is superior to anything else on the market (range, increment). I am not aware of anyone who fit them with the stock handguards tho without some modification (um, because they don't fit . . .). You can either remove the plastic turn signal wire covers from inside the handguards as you note some have done or you can add washers/spacers to the handlebar brackets with longer bolts like I did because I wanted more clearance for the lever pivots and also didn't want to expose the turn signal wires). Either way, good luck and enjoy, you'll love 'em!

So, Saturday came and went. Did you get them on?

They are on my hyper evo sp. Love them. I also love the stock guards!! I did two rubber spacers for me and the fit is perfect.

Enjoy,
G

Hello,
Have any pics of the rubber spacers? I plan on putting CRG long levers on my Hyper (when I get it) and also plan on keeping the stock handguards. Thanks.

Different issues. The ASV fitment issue lies in the pivot because it's an "unbreakable" lever, not in the lever length. The spacers move the handguards forward from the bar so there is more room between bar and handguard, allowing the ASV pivot room so the lever can fully release (as opposed to hitting the handguard and not fully releasing). The CRG'S are a straight install tho in that regard like most levers, unless you are imited to shorties (some full length levers are too long for the handguard width). Come to think of it, the OP shows full length ASV's, which I don't "think" will fit within the stock handguards (my ASV's are shorties), so I am curious to hear from the OP as well.
