MWR Filter install ??????
Been sitting on one of these sweet lookin lids for awhile and had a spare hour os so. Thought it was just lift the tank up and unscrew the original and on with the new......Yeah right.
Is there a step by step on this somewhere as I don't have workshop manual and altho the tank lift and unscrew a few nuts was straight forward enough I seem to have hit a wall and did a search for some details but couldn't find any help.
Why don't manufacturers supply install instructions anymore??????
Do I have to remove the whole airbox or is it possible without removal? How do you get these babies apart? I thought the lid would have just popped off ala old Multi etc.
Any advise?

Thanks........but worked it out. Box out, heat gun on joint and trim knife cut.......top of box off. The rest is straight forward except for rear left underside box retaining allen bolt which came from the factory thoughtfully pre-stripped so had to cut it to remove box. Just need to remember to plug everything back in.

Please post your impressions of the MWR once you get some time with it.
Thanks!

Hey Doonyroony..........Allready have the cams ecu and will be dropping the cams in before too much longer. Fired it up this arvo but without the Silmoto pipe as have been fighting with a set of Zard headers which do not fit, (but I made them fit) seems they sent me the wrong pipe for the front header. Sounds like a drag bike without the pipe so am hoping my modded joiner is finished by tomorrow so can ride it and form an opinion on the dollars spent. Sure did sound crisp tho.
How's the new toy?
Lookin forward to hearing how you go with your fight against the corporate giants.......JB
