Question Termi 2-2 slip on advice

I have a line on a new set of Termi slip ons for my EVO SP that would save me about $800 off retail. My original "ultimate" plan was a full system (either Termi or SC Project), but now this offer has me reconsidering.

I do want to unleash the sound a bit and ultimate power tuning is not my intent, but I don't want to leave significant HP on the table either. Will I regret going this route with the slip-ons to save some dough up front? If I do go this route, should I eliminate the cat at the same time? If I do eliminate the cat, will the supplied ECU work fine? Not sure how this plays into it, but I was also planning to install the Ducshop stacks at some point.

I know, I know...too many questions. Apologies, but I'm new to this Ducati stuff and there are way too many options.

Thanks for your input!

if you're after a better sound then great, but people have posted here that adding slip ons or other have actually lost 1 hp....go figure

i would add your slips at that price!! and cat elim and ecu, get the stacks and tune it in with a pc

do some searching here, there is plenty written in the hyper threads and sport classic threads.......search WASP

How much money are you saving if your not getting what you want?

I'm pretty sure the Power Commander isn't available for the Siemens FI in the Evo. Their site says 2009-2010 but when you download the PDF install manual it's for a 2009. They are pretty responsive to email if you drop them a line.

You don't have to do it all at once, go for the slip-ons and shop for headers later(Zards are a lot cheaper than Termis).
Without cat removal you should not use the ECU supplied with the slip-ons, it makes the engine run way too rich.
I had to go to the racing ECU only after the stacks and headers.

I'm curious to see the result of a PC5 on a 2x o2 sensors bike stuck in a close loop.
Please let us know your feedback.

No o2 sensors on full exhaust was only true on previous generation of Hypermotard, not on the Evo and Evo SP.

The DP ECU sold with the Termignoni 2-1 full exhaust retains the two o2 sensors aswell.
If you dont plug them, even with a DP ECU , you will have a check engine light on the dash

Only a reflashed ECU migth be able to get rid of those sensors.

we will be using a full zard with no 02 sensors and the oem ecu, there is no point in tuning in a pc5 with the oem sensors.....gonna use 02 eliminators to take care of the engine light
