Ducati performance slipper clutch plates
Finally after too much travelling for work I'm getting close to installing my new DP slipper clutch.
I was at the Ducati dealer this weekend wanting to get new plates and they only had Barnett brand not the ducati.
The parts guy said they work better than OE.
Has anyone had experience using these or any other aftermarket brand clutch plates?
Thanks in advance

I don't recommended Barnet plates for the DP slipper. You should use ducati performance clutch plates.

I also have a DP slipper clutch, do a lot of trackdays, and use Barnett plates, they work just fine, and are sooooo much cheaper than the OEM plates. I do think that the stock plates may last a little longer though.
Just install them as the "street" version and get your "stack" height correct, and you'll find them to work well. Aloha Alex

Got the Barnett kit but I'm concerned about the stack height.
Measured 37.5mm without the curved plate. Any suggestions on how to tailor this to 36.5 mm

Depending on which pack you got, try to get as close to the 36.5mm stack height as you can WITH the spring plate. You should have a plate left over.
You can also order different thickness of metal plates from Barnett to "custom" make the pack to the 36.5mm stack height. Just make sure you follow the plate order in the "street" version in the instructions. Aloha Alex

I did Mi STM the hard way...keeping the OEM plates... I had
Double-Bench Grinded select plates. Not the friction plates or the curved plate obv.
If You know of a skilled machinist, it is perfectly safe to shave material equally off of respective steel plates. That's how I got Mi stack the way it is, but for next clutch pack, I'll go Barnett. Cheers, Alex.
