New ECU and TPS question....
Good Morning,
Got my race manifolds and ECU installed with the slip-ons, now I finally have the full 2-1-2 system. I understand that the TPS has to be set by dealer. Mine starts, revs and idles ok but I have not ridden it as of yet. I want to try and get it to the dealer this week and was wanting to know if it will hurt anything to ride it the 50-55 miles to my nearest dealer or do I need to trailer it?? Thanks for everyone's help!

Which bike and what year?
It might be self learning if it's made 2010 or later, looks like my 796 is anyways.
Don't take my word for it though, I'm not sure and im trying to find out for sure myself

from your comments above concerning the motor idling and reving ok .... i would ride it to the dealership to have the tps reset. but, if trailering is an option, that would be better.

Yes. All Siemens ECU's are auto reset every time you start the engine. Thats why its important not to turn the throttle when starting.

If you twist the throttle while starting it simply reverts back to the last time a proper TPS reset was done.
