Rear sets that keep the rear pegs?
I was about to buy a set of Woodcraft rear sets but then I can't have the rear pegs any longer. At the moment I have them off but now and then my wife likes to come for a ride and removing the rear sets is kind of a pain in the butt.
Are there any others apart from Sato that work? I'm looking for something good but not crazy expensive. The problem is I'm scraping the stock pegs at the track and almost had an off last year when I sort of dug a peg into the ground.
Thanks

Rizoma makes rear pegs separate from their rearsets. You can use them with any rearsets.

A caveat to that is if You have a 2-1 exhaust, it sticks out too far, thus obstructing installation of right passenger footrest. I bought them & returned them for that reason. Wrong exhaust...

There are a set of rearsets on desmoworks.com made by style and performance that allow you to keep the stock passenger pegs.
I went with the Sato's though.

JC,
Those are a nice option for rearsets at an affordable price. I was wondering if you can tell me approximately how high and far back they go from the stock Hyper peg position (20mm on an axis I guess)? Also, can you raise the stock shifter/linkage and brake lever a little to accomodate the change of position in the peg? Finally, do you have any customer reviews that I can read? Thanks.
Mangler,
Were you also able to raise your stock shifter/linkage and brake lever a little to accomodate the change of position in the peg? Thanks.
Out!

Yes on shifter, even though i didn't need to (size 13), didn't need to adjust brake.

Thanks guys. The rizoma stuff looks good.
Who uses the reverse (GP) shift pattern? I assume it's better or easier to upshift when pushing down then to pull up. Is it tougher to downshift when going into a corner?
