Lesson # 73:

I know you're excited you just got your Sato rearsets. I know it was raining yesterday so you spent all afternoon in the garage fiddling / adjusting / and installing till your wife was pissed you were late for dinner.

I know you wanted the height of the shift lever to be 'just perfect' for your commute today.

But please - PLEASE - remember to tighten the shift linkage bolts with loctite before spewing your shift linkage all over I-476 rush hour traffic.

My shift linkage came apart getting off the freeway with a group ride once. Noticed just in time to salvage all the parts and have a stranger loan me an Allen wrench to get her back on the road.
