Hyper help
been trying to get a good deal on a used hyper for this year. I have 2 other ducs so I dont need to go ALL OUT on a perfect/new hyper.
anyways, my buddy does the dealer auction stuff and theres a hyper coming up in a few days at one of the auctions. problem is that the auction place does not list if its an S model or if it is an 1100 or the 796 version. I dont know enough about them to be able to tell the difference looking at a few pictures
the bike has a little bit of damage to it as well, so I was wondering if the hyper Experts out there could look at these pics and be able to tell me what model it is, and what exactly is broken on the handle bar area. I cant really tell by looking at the pics if anything MAJOR is damaged. thanks for the help everyone!

can you elaborate on that? i have tons of experience with wrecked bikes, getting parts, fixing, etc etc ..... my problem is that Im unfamiliar with the hypers, so I cant really tell what is damaged. I looks to me just like the bars on the left side, tank, and switches, etc .... cant tell though

WTF? easily a couple grand.. not. if you ordered brand new OEM from the factory.
I'm selling stock bars/guards/grips/levers-master cylinders, triple clamp/bar clamps(powder coated) both upper and lower, on classified here shortly. Plus i won't be asking high prices. (I.e. complete handguard set R/L for $250 + ship perfect condition.)
All you would need is a left shroud cover to fix everythiong pic show as damaged.
Check forks, frame for cracks, and bike is easily worth $5k. Got termi's.
Bid up to $4k. IMHO
Good luck. hope you get it. And if i could do it again i would buy a broke one and do the same thing. i must have replaced every damn oem part now. I easily have $7k in mods. And I stipidly bought one brand new in 2009 for $16k out the door in Hawaii. (that was talking them down)

yeah .. that's what I was thinking. there's some decent prices on used shit out there. looks like the tank is busted too though ... but i dont care. I think id get all black body work anyways. I like the idea of a red framed 1100 S with all black bodywork & wheels.
and you're right .. it has all the S upgrades, plus some termis.

It looks like the cluch master just needs a lever. I can give you that for free. And i dont think tank is punctured but if it is, i can sell you my oem dirt cheap($100) as soon as the mid sizes are in production.
