How long did your battery last?
I think mines on its last leg, also what kind of upgrade is the best?
I read about a dry cell battery that was about 6lbs lighter but im not shure if that kind of battery is reliable.
Thanks in advance for your expert replys.
One other question: Will my hyper pop a wheelie in 3rd if i replace the stock exhaust or do i just need a heavier girlfriend?
Im full of questions tonight

Are you using a tender? How frequent do you ride?
Mine still seems strong, I Purchased the bike aug '08. Ride 2 times a month otherwise on a battery tender junior.
The dry cells are pricey but sweet.

I use a dry cell on my race bike [Suzuki 650] and I couldn't be happier. I don't have to put it on a tender over the winter and it 'warms up' in the spring so with each crank it gets more and more juice. Add that to the fact that it is x lbs lighter and I'm pretty happy I bought mine.
I don't have any experience with the 12 cell or whatever would be required to keep the HM cranking though - but I would assume it would function the same way. The one in my bike is my Maviryk [ http://www.mavirykdesign.com]

Probably a heavier girl on the back. Or just timed right. Sometimes the right rise in pavement and some throttle juice will pop it up.

I swapped in a 14T front sprocket and am much happier with the wheelies!
Here is a thread on Shoria batteries.

I am an old flat track racer so i dont want to gear down to a 14 counter
I kinda like the higher gearing the way it is
i just want a bit more punch between 2nd and 3rd gear
The bad thing with a stock Hyper is the horrible lag between 3rd and 4th gear
Thats where it starts being a pussy
If it didnt have that lag it would be a 11 sec quarter mile bike everytime you run it
Fuck its way radical under full power even stock in 1st and 2nd gear and when you hit 3rd it fades to fast
By the time you shift to 4th you arent really kicking back like it should

My battery lasted for a year 1/2, I'm usually good for a battery to last 4+. New stock battery cranked faster than it did new. My guess the wheezy air box won't flow on top end & Ducati installed torque cams to bring the punch earlier. After two years of info, DP cam kit, Zard headers, stacks & pod filters, and a performance fuel tank to return range will be my fix
