Dumb ?'s about stacks, decats and desmo works?

Figured I would lump them together since they are all simple dumb questions.
1) Do the filters come off the duc shop velocity stacks? Don't want to screw them up while cleaning them before they even get on the bike.
2) Are all decat pipes the same? Currently between GPR or Leo Vince.
3) Trying to call/email/smoke signal Desmo works to ask about the reflash'ed ecus for 2 weeks...no reply or signs of life. Just want to know if they reflash turns the ecu into a clone dp ecu or can they be tuned for certain parts combos like stacks, decat and cored muffler.

i'll bite bro. I'm sure you're F5'n in hopes that someone helps you out.

answer 1.) yes, however, i don'y take my stacks off filters when i clean them.

answer 2.) no, search "decat" in the hyper forum. ex. arrow headers are different than SC project headers in how the angle comes off the pipe to hook up with the slip on. just an example, not closely related.

answer 3.) they reflash IOT be able to adjust air/fuel. i think they clone a type of race ecu you want (i.e. full system) I believe the closed loop OEM ECU can't be adjusted to change stock settings, fatduc can mod some. IMO you can find any race ecu (208, etc), from classifieds/ebay, and with any power commander the dyno man can remap IOT tune your a/f ratio to what you want. then you always have stock ECU to revert to.

just trying to help. i'm probably off some.

1) Yes.
The filters used in the Ducshop V.stack kit are K&N (ref # RC-9160). You have to mount them on the machined parts included in the kit, and they come pre-oiled, so you dont have to do any cleaning or anything prior install.

2) All decat pipes are not the same.
Some are intented to be used with a 2-1 config, some other with under seat exhaust 2-2.

3) It's odd, Anthony is usually pretty quick to answer.
I ordered parts from Desmoworks, was shipped and delivered very quickly. Even got a free shipping as a Ducati.ms member.

Ok my filters are used and have some grime in the corners, just seems like a big stretch as the stack is wider at the top.

I am looking for a decat pipe that works with stock head pipes and stock mid pipe as I dont plan to change them unless manditory. (I have searched and read a ton like the Termi one comes up short and leaks)

I could place the order, I see mota-lab as a little sheet to mail in with the ecu but I'm trying to plan this out before dropping more cash.

the stacks are quite a pain to get on and off of the filters. I plan on just removing the stacks and filters together and cleaing that way. It shouldn't harm anything.

I had my 2010 evo-sp hyper at Ducshop a few weeks ago and did some dyno tuning.

The bike has termi exhaust/ecu and stock airbox.

First 3 runs netted 88 RWHP.
Then installed the Ducshop Stacks and the Fast Frank Racing coil bracket kit in about an hour then made three more runs, Result was 93 RWHP
Thats an absolute solid 5 HP gain. Thats the most HP gain for the least amount of money I have ever spent.

And the gain is even better on the 09 and earlier models, around 7 + HP.
