Better bike that hyper
Took the hyper out for a run today as it was a really nice sunny day. I would have to say it again that this is the best bike that i have ever owned. Thought about changing it earlier on this year but i will have to wait until a better bike is made than the hyper

Pretty damn cool, but I believe, if the pictures are any clue, they may have water-cooled the 1100 2v engine to bore it to 1200cc. Those are NOT 4v heads. Duc did this in the past with motor for the ST2.
Have a good one.

Hmm... if this is true not really liking the direction. Especially the pipes on the side. I like the idea of getting a more powerful motor in there but not the super futuristic yamaha yzf look. I feel like the current hyper has a nice timeless design. Wonder how much weight will be shed if anything?

Haha...they have the same Marshocking forks!!!!!!
FYI, I'm an idiot.
I speak Spanish, enough to do my job at least, so I see the article, in Italian, and knowing that the languages (Spanish and Italian) are vaguely similar, I begin my rough (very) translation of the first paragraph...........only to get to the bottom of it and find the English version!!!!
FWIW, I didn't do half bad on translating......

I like the idea it looks like the current model but better. I don't like the front headlight. It reminds me of a rooster. I can't imagine how much fun that bike can be with that 1200 water cooled engine I don't see Ducati coming out with that model in 2012. I see it in 2013, The evo is fresh now.

It's alright but I like the current Hyper's look better. I don't like the Street fighter exhaust blocking the beautiful single sided swing-arm view. It didn't say it was the real prototype from Ducati so who knows what changes they will make. Makes me appreciate my bike a little more though. I think it looks better and even though the new bike might have a more powerful liquid cooled engine I think the air cooled engine is great and powerful enough for the Hyper.

I can't imagine a superbike engine in this bike. I think an 848 motor would be a better option if they insist on water cooled. The idea of this bike being quasi-supermotard with a more powerful engine is what appealed so much to me in the first place. I would not have bought this bike if it had a superbike motor.
