ECU ID help
I sent a guy selling a Termi 2-1 system a message asking for the ECU part number to help identify it since he originally listed it as fitting a 2009-2010 EVO/SP model. I thought that model didn't come out until 2010.
Either way, he responded with the following:
"I have the E C U # i ope this helps hym1100 sa d0a2iu1ypc gr compl 96521710b i hope this is it thanx let me know"
It looks to be a siemens ecu by the photo, which is obviously what I'd need for my 2011 evo, just trying to verify exactly which ecu it is.
I searched pro-italia and google for "96521710b" and didn't have any luck. Any help would be appreciated.

The picture you showed clearly show a Siemens ECU.
Go here and use your part # :
Ducati Omaha Online Store
Item Name:
CENTRALINA 2IN1 HYM1100 MY'10

Yes, it does clearly show a Siemens ECU, but I sure don't want to get stuck with one for a 796. I looked up the numbers I had on the link you provided and just like my proitalia.com attempt, no luck.
Sure, I could call a shop, but it almost seems a bit rude to waste their time since I'm obviously just researching a online purchase...
Thanks for the suggestions so far.
edit: ok, i must've mistyped my original attempt on that site. The "centralina" popped up for me too... sorry to be dense. Wonder why it didn't pop up on the proitalia site

Is $1335 correct for all of this?!?? (the price that came up on the link you provided) It seems extremely cheap for a complete Termi system and ecu, etc...

Now I realize I'm talking to myself, but I'm starting to think the $1335 price is for the ecu only?!? wow

Ayup, welcome to the beautiful world of Ducati
This way, with an overpriced Ducati Performance ECU included in the package, they make sure you stick with Termi instead of buying other brands...

I appreciated the feedback... In the end I decided not to put faith in an ebay description, or seller, and just called my dealer.
Ordered up the carbon Termi 2-1 full system :-) Yay me.
