07-09 Hyper SHIFTING Poll
Has Your Hyper's gearbox ever...
Been stuck in gear
Hit False Neutral
-or-
Induced a crash
Per Doon's request for some E-evidence. To the best of mi knowledge, I and a few others had a gearbox prawl kit swapped under warranty, due to false neutrals (in any gear) and/or the lever sticking.

Just out of curiousity doon, are you looking for someone that hits a false neutral consistently, or just when they get a lazy left foot on occasion?

Im looking for people that have had the stuck in gear issue or a crash resulting from it from being stuck in gear.
A consistent false neutral is ok as that s not good also. The odd false shift I dont want to know about.
Thanks

If it helps, 1 and 2, yes.
3 no, but I had a high speed lockup, but managed to stay up.

Got "lazy left foot" syndrome yesterday on my commute home. Accelerated hard and shifted from fourth to fifth, only to find neutral, vvvrrrrrrrMMMMMMM, went the bike. Grabbed the clutch, shifted properly and all was good!

Mine got stuck once in first, after I stopped, shuffled it up and down away it when but it took probably thirty seconds of wresting the gear lever with hand an boot to free it.
Bigger problem was sixth gear hardening coming off and going through the motor thus I gave the bike back.
