OEM parts replacement
It seems when it comes to Ducati and specially the Hypermotard, there is not any option other than ordering OEM parts through a dealer, and the prices are ridiculous.
Among other things, I need a shift (gearbox) lever. The original one, not only is a piece of crap, it costs $110!!!
Does anybody know where I can get parts to replace OEM ones or at least decent prices for official Ducati parts?
Thanks!

Sometimes it helps to vary what you put into google. Hyper versus Hypermotard or like I did was just "ducati shift lever"
Another thing to look up would be the people who part out bikes. You stumble on them if you look for parts... some have ebay stores and also have email listings when another bike becomes a donor.

Anybody has found any aftermarket shifter?
I brought this thread back from limbo because I broke the tip of my shift pedal again
Has anybody found an aftermarket replacement for the shift lever yet? It is the same one as the Multistrada and different from any other Ducati.
Thanks!
David.

If your not going to get rearsets, & ride hard, do 2 things, raise the shifter & brake lever as high as they will go, (I even countersank the screw in the brake pedal) and drill out the press in the back of the shift lever tip, reposition the tip so its flat & TIG weld it. This will give you at least some ground clearence. Aloha Alex
