Help me sort out what ecu for what mods please

I just got a 08 Hyper S and promptly stripped the bike down to make it all nice nice again. I already started to core the pipes and paint the silver subframe red. After seeing how burried the air box is I think I will just mod it now also. I have read up on the threads here but there is so much info on each set up its hard to tell what does what any more.
These are the tentative mods before ecu tweeks.
1 Cored pipe
2 Cored pipe, stock opened up airbox.
3 Cored pipe, stock opened up airbox with high performance filter/pods.
4 Cored pipe, stock opened up airbox with high performance filter/pods, cat delete
5 Cored pipe, duc shop velocity stacks, cat delete

I guess the tuning options are fatduc, dp ecu, bazzaz, pc3 and stock ecu reflashes for the 2008 model. If you guys could just respond back to the numbers with what ecu works best I could build a better baseline on what I can spend to set the bike up.

#5 seems to be a good way to go along with a dp ecu..either cams ecu or full exhaust ecu..w/pc and a dyno tune.

That is what I would like to do. Can the ecu be reprogrammed and then add a pc3 on top of that? Doing both plus tuning will be quite pricey.

They can't (to my knowledge) reflash the stock ECU at this time. You will need at least a slip-on ECU to get rid of the closed-loop operation.

From Mota-lab:
Reflashing your stock Ducati ECU is the most economical way to correct the fueling issues of your motorcycle. After our reflash your bike will have improved performance, fuel economy and throttle response! Map features vary per bike model/setup, but some available features are:

•Removal of oxygen (O2) sensor.
•Removal of exhaust valve.
•Increased RPM limit.
•Removal of Immobilizer system.

Available Maps
If you don't see your model or the mapping you need here contact us as we can supply other maps or variations of these maps. Custom configurations may incur additional fees.

Ducati Hypermotard

•796: slip-on
•1100: slip-on, full system and race kit
•1100 ('10+): slip-on and full system

I sent them a e-mail to clarify for me.

Magneti Marelli ECU on the 07-09 Hyper can be reflashed pretty much since day 1.
In US I beleive Anthony from Desmoworks offer that kind of service for a fairly good price.

All your setup from #1 to #5 would be fine with a DP ECU from a Termi 2-1.
Obviously #5 is the best way to go.
It's also a good thing to consider adding a PCV with a DP ECU

I dont think going for DP ECU from the cams is a good idea, as you would probly need the cams to take advantage of the +16% of fuel sent to the engine.

Ok cool, I may have a lead on some barely used Ducshop stacks already so route #5 may be the way I go now. Can an auto tune Power Comander 5 be wired into the older Hypers or is the 3 all that is avalible?
