Powder coated or anodised red rims
Anybody does this on this forum heres guys? Was considering doing it?

what every you do dont anodise anything red ever!!!
i did lots of parts on my old crf and after about a year they turn pink from the sun,and boy thats sucks and your friends will give you hell!!

I powder coated my rims red about two years ago and they have held up great!!! no issues with tire changes and no fading. The guy who did it for me matched the red perfectly. A little red tape for the wheel weights and away you go.

I had mine power coated. its about 9 months later and still holding up good. Powder coating will give you more options.

I've had a set of motorcycle wheels and a set of cars wheels powder'd. You can't beat the durability.

If you do powder coat make sure you leave old bearings in place & put bolts in threads, so they don't fill with paint.
