Just signed up for an brand new 1100 evo-sp

Woha , did the paperworks today and getting the bike next week

Got som questions if you dont mind ..

1 . Gonna get Termi 2-1 after 1000km service ,what numberplateholder is best suited ?

2 . Looking for crashprotetion , any recommendations ?

3. braking in the engine 1000km ok , but up to 2500km? is that really important ..

4. Suspension setup is it good from factory my weight is 80kg .

5 . Coolest bike i ever seen and its mine now

White one by the way , thinking of what color of termi Carbon or Titanium ..

Best regards

You're in for a lot of fun.

Plate Holder ? I would go home made stuff, or maybe the new Zard carbon parts they are selling with their new 2-1.

2-1 carbon or tianium ? Titanium. I've seen too many exploded 2-1 carbon and Ducati not taking under warranty.

Hei Swe boy ;-)
I have the 1100 evo sp, nice bike, 12000km last summer ;-))
Look for crashprotetion on eMoto - Ducati Hypermotard Crash Protection
easy too install
Front Suspension is a bit soft for hard trackdays
I have the full termi race 2-1, and it backfires a lot, i am waiting for a new ECU.
otherwise I am very satisfied

hemsedal... I have the backfiring too, but can manage it with the throttle. Was it determined you needed a new ECU? The backfiring seems to be a common situation among Termi 2-1 systems on the EVO SP.

Smackman... Major congrats. It is a very special bike. I went with the white EVO SP and titanium exhaust. After owning a red Hyper S (and missing it) and a string of CF exhaust cans on a variety of bikes, went with the titanium can. Kinda goes with the white EVO SP.

Hi
my weight is 87 kg height 180cm,
this is actually my second Hypermotard, the first one I drove 29000km before it was totaled after a trip out of the way!
My local dealer says that ducati has produced new ECU termi for full race 2-1, this will not backfire (says the dealer) has not received this, in Norway it is full winter so can not test it until about 2-3 months

Hi Sfarson,
I had my evo sp in for service several times after installation of the full race termi 2-1
at the end of the season I was told by my local dealer that ducati had solved the problem with backfire,
Multistrada 1200 2010mod had the same problem with the backfire, this is now fixed, with the new ECU

I look forward to summer with a new ECU and a lot of hooligen driving!

Good choice

I have had my white evo sp for 2 weeks now and it is just plain fun. Corners on rails, brakes are awesome. I have the std exhaust system and it is pretty clogged and a bit flat - in sound and power. It needs to be able to breath much better than std for them to really dance.

I am toying with the idea of titanium SC projects - I think that will void the warranty - but that doesn't worry me that much.
