eobd 2.1 error

Morning people.

The EOBD light has just turned on.

Error code is 2.1 which is pressure sensor error.

Any ideas where the pressure sesor is located and is it something that can be fixed without plugging the bike in to a computer.

Also will it be doing any serious damage if I continue to ride it until it's fixed?


Bike is a 2007 S with termi 2-1 if that makes any difference.

I don't know what error code 2.1 is, but if it is the pressure sensor as you say, here is the how2do from the workshop manual (I needed to replace mine, the sensor itself is around 200 USD)

Air temperature / pressure sensor
This sensor is powered by the electronic unit. It supplies information about the absolute air pressure in a neutral area of the motorbike and measures temperature. The sensor sends electronic signals to the control unit for correction in accordance with the temperature and barometric pressure.
Note
To check operation of this component, use the DDS, follow instructions given under "Guided diagnosis".

Removing the air temperature / pressure sensor
To gain access to the air temperature/pressure sensor, remove the headlight fairing, disconnect the main wiring harness connector (1) at sensor end, unscrew the sensor retaining screw (2) and remove the sensor from the front subframe.

Before buying one, it would be prudent to check the connections first. There are used ones out there for under $30.
