Termignoni

Hi guys, new here and got a hm 796
Plan to install the termignoni slipons but heard few guys said it doesnt sound so good if compared to the full system.i plan to install the leovince cat delete pipes too.tried looking up on youtube but found only few that doesnt really sound clearly.
So any of you guys have experince or videos that can help me decide.
Love the double exhaust under the seat compared to single (full system)but just want to make sure it sounds good too.
Thanks for any feedback

Pretty hard not to like the Termis,,
Baffles in , for the early morning ride to work as to keep neighbours happy or baffles out for some hot rodding...
For some the baffles out gets a little hard on the ears after a long while

Hell I even went for a ride with just ONE baffle in, by mistake...

Some say the baffles in makes more HP.
Hard to tell from Videos and sound tracks...

Try them someone else will buy them if you are not happy
I got the 1100 so will be different..

You can also gut the stock mufflers and save cash !!!
I don't know about the 796 ECU ... and settings

Why not get the LV slip-ons? Look good, sound good, cost less..... Aloha Alex

I have a set of Termis on my 1100 aswell, with the Zard headers kit.
I'm using it every day, no baffles, and it sounds great.

But after 18.000km with this setup, if I had to do it all over again, i would clearly not go the Termignoni route !

Here's my feedback
*/ Termi is overpriced
*/ Fitting and alignment are bad
*/ Carbon sleeves show a prety bad quality, like every Ducati Performance part
*/ Welding, made by apes
*/ Where's the silicon for the link between the 2 pipes ?

Seriously, I would go for a reflash of the stock ECU by Anthony @ Desmoworks and choose something other than Termignoni.
A 2-2 by Fresco (which look exactly the same as Termi) or a 2-1 by SC-project.
It will look better, be a better quality, sound as good or better and cost cheaper.

To OP:
You probably saw my vids on the tube
Crap recording really, let me tell you this though, you wont ride unnoticed through town without the db-killers in, not sure what it's like with them in.
I got this strange buzzing sound ringing in my head after a few hours out riding
Even headache, but boy does it sound good

And yeah I got the Termis and LV cat delete kit, I'm surprised I haven't got pulled over by the law yet.

As a bonus you will get 5-6+ HP/TQ increase as well, might end up running a bit lean though so maybe i'll see you in my tuning thread

Thanks for de replys and advice guys
For me i think the baffles will be out (1st v-twin for me,so i love the sound)
Love the way the termis look(at the moment)
For sound ive heard before mostly are de 1100s,im sure theres a lot of difference if compared to 796 right.
at the moment i'm looking for the sound than hp gain as its powerfull enough for me
Ok just say i go for de slipons termi and lv cat delete,
the termis come with the ecu plug in right? that is meant for slipons, and its not the same as the full system ecu(after lv cat delete) if its different can the ecu be set again for full system or the bike will run normal even though its not reset or u can say running on different settings.will it be ok?

swefin796- is this what u mean by running lean?

Thanks again guys!!!

I posted before and after sound bytes on my 796 cat delete w/ stock cans. There is a remarkable difference in sound. Do a search in this forum. LV stuff is real nice..... excellent quality all around. A friend had LV slip ons for his Aprilla Shiver ... awesome sound.

You don't get the sticker tho
Some good points...
Some other companies look after the underside better (I think) than what Termi does as far as protection..

For the $$$ , welds should be Top Notch and the finish should be perfect with no vise marks and splatter..
Some don't care about the looks as long as it is lighter and does the job as intended....
