the only stalling that I used to get was when I would give the bike a bunch of quick throttle off of idle. I would also get stalling during very hot days in stop and go traffic.
I havn't had any issues now that I reset the TPS, adjusted fuel trim, and adjusted the air bleed screws. I had the most positive effect adjusting the bleed screws.

Hi
I have a 1100 Evo (bone stock) and it will stall when cold - particularly when backing off the throttle quickly. Does the air bleed trick work for that as well ?

No dealer in Vegas...I'm waiting for the the TechnoResearch kit to arrive for TPS...and to see what else it can do.

Find the small caps on each throttle body. Pry off the caps. Under each cap are the air bleed screws. Turn them in all the way closed (clockwise). Turn them out (counterclockwise) 1 3/4 turns. Problem solved.
By the way, this is illegal and violates all environmental laws. If I could get the bike to work without doing this I would. The dealers will just give you the factory settings and tell you "they all do that".
Good luck and good riding.
