Rear Sprocket
Is the rear sprocket a floater? I can wiggle my sprocket like I can the front disc.... all the bolts are tight......is that right???

My front disks are way tighter than the back sprocket.

i guess it is possible to wear those cush drive rubbers out..i think alex is the only one around this forum that has.should have ample amount of movement but not much.

IMO the answers should be - NO! Some bikes do develop play between the sprocket holder and the hub, but I don't think that it should be there and a bit of judicious machining will eliminate it and make the bike much more pleasant to ride.
I reckon that there should be no discernable play and certainly unworn cush drive should not give any noticeable wiggle.

I agree with Sandbar.
The cushdrive is for rotational torque and should not allow play laterally.
If it allows lateral play, the sprocket will "twist" with drive torque and you will lose HP and cause undue stress on chains, sprockets, bearings and even the swingarm.
But, then again, WTF do I know.....
