S2R arrows on a Hyper
Came across "Son of Hyperstrada" via youtube. I kinda like it. I know how the exhaust relates to the motor since it's the same as my S2R. It's very tempting to take the bike this direction. Thoughts? Love it? Hate it?

I think the Hyper needs the exhaust in the tail. It just seems right.
I keep considering changing the exhaust on my Streetfighter (which looks a lot like this one) and moving it to the tail, but I am not sure it really fits the bike.
If I can be blunt, The pic you posted is really ugly. I'm not sure if it is because of all of the gold or what, but it really makes a bad exhaust look really ghetto in the pic.
Just my $.02

plus one........i think an under seat exhaust and the standard hyper front nose cone and guards would look even better on this bike

Blunt is good. Thanks... I'm willing to go with whatever will deliver the same feel (motorwise) as the full arrow system does on my s2r. It does make the bike look somewhat like an identity crisis.
I guess I could take it in stages... have money ready, but core the stock cans and if it works for me then that would be it. Long term is adding the mid sized tank, stacks, frame sliders and at some point going all black, red frame, black subframe.

I don't hang in this forum much and don't know what exhaust mods have been done on your bikes, but I have done a bunch of stock can mods over the years and they can really sound awesome. In fact I am currently looking for a stock exhaust for my 888 to modify after posting an old video of the bike doing a camera drive-by.

that hyperstrada looks like a honda nighthawk or something. They took a very good looking motard-looking bike and turned it into an 80's standard.
I would love to see someone install a single under tail exhaust. Now, that would be awesome but would likely require someone with some fab skills.
The gutted stock system will still outweigh a single carbon can by a lot. My titanium termi weighs a fraction of what the heavy stock stuff does.

I like it.. But I do agree that the exhaust needs to be up towards the tail.
