anyone install PC V with auto tune, on a 2008 hyper?

just wondering if any of you minchione have installed a power commander V with the auto tune option, on a 2008 or 2009 hypertard with the termi 2-1 system (i.e.: using the header bung holes for the auto tune sensors)?

ciao doon,

does the qd system have two bung holes, one in each header ... or just the one bung hole for an o2 sensor? and if two, are you using two sensors for the PC V so it can measure fuel/air for each cylinder?

I am running with one sensor with a custom map for both cylinders, runs very strong.
I have my afr set from 13.1 to 12.8 on the auto tune.
Just brought a set of cams on fleabay so when i get them in its off to the dyno.
I think the fueling is pretty close with the custom map and auto tune.
If you want two sensors you need two auto tune modules
I am very pleased with the auto tune module.

the harley specific model uses two sensors. I have no idea if you could some convert a hyper harness to the harley auto tune? I don't know why they only offer a harley version as having the opportunity to tune both cylinders. Seriously, when your bike weighs 900 lbs., why do you care if you can pick up an extra 2 hp?

The pcv can take two autotune sensors
No problem if you wanted to do this, just need a second bung hole and autotune sensor and module.

grazie doon ... the termi 2-1 system i am running on the hypertard has two bung holes (one each header pipe, prior to meeting up at the 2-1 riser pipe to the slip on). i will check to see if the auto tune sensor's threads will work on the bungs, or if i need to drill a hole and weld a nut onto the system. if the later is the case, might just opt to run a single auto tune sensor on the riser pipe.

also, if i do this mod, i will ping you to learn more about the custom map you mention, and will be very interested in when you install the dp race cam, as then your motor will be just like mine.

ciao,
johnc

ciao,

Bungs come with the auto tune sensor that can be welded in.
They are the same size as the stock o2 sensor thread.
