Which handlebar for the hyper?
Hi folks,
are there any suggestions for an alternative handelbar? I am looking for an one with a bit more sweep and less width.
Actually, I am thinking about MAGURA´s SX, ANSWER ProTapper, RIZOMA Conus or LSL Fatbar Cross.
So - what´s your choice?
Thanks and cheers!
Marc

there is a lot of info. in this thread... http://www.ducati.ms/forums/92-hyper...kage-deal.html
Many people have changed to the zeta motard medium bend. From what I've gathered, if you try to go too much narrower with the zeta bars, you will run out of room to mount everything. I think it has to do with the up sweep of the bars. I am not sure of other brands.

I installed the Rizoma last winter. Rode it a year and it's going to be replaced this winter by a ProTaper Contour with a carmichael bend.
I cant say anything about the ProTaper yet, but I can assure you Rizoma didnt design its handlebar for the Hyper, but for a Monster or StreetFighter.

I got a renthal sx fatbar with a very flat bend. Doesn't have the rearward sweep of the stock bars, gives you a slight forward lean so you're not pulling on bars so much in fast sweepers. that and some slightly rearward positioned pegs are a perfect combo for me.
