That sucks, lets hope the insurance company doesn't give you any sh*t.
Good thing the bike didn't let go, and cause a BIG ACCIDENT! Aloha Alex

Two straps - got it Boy this sucks but I'll never let that happen again! I also wrap the rear tire once and this is the only thing that held it on. Sorry to hear about the crf - guessing no ins there, bummer
Alex - good point bout the cars behind me. That was my biggest fear besides being hyperless

I don't do bike carriers. I bought a giant, lifted Superduty to haul my bike around.
Those carriers just look too scary for a 400 pound bike.
Sorry to hear about your Hyper.
Dave

Really sorry
I know that has to hurt a BUNCH, but imagine how cool it was to watch from the other lane. Surely in this age of iPhones, someone got a shot of it...

Sorry to hear about that. It happens more than you might think. I use Ancra tie downs, they are the best. And using an enclosed trailer or in my case a van really gives you some more security. Pick up a used van and you will be happier. It's probably all fixable. Good luck to you.

Stop buying cheap tye-downs.....
ONLY buy Ancra's...It was funny when Decreasing Dave and I went to cali, we were both protective of our tye downs...because no one wants to lose an ancra..
The Walmart or Vato-zone ones are complete crap.
That said, I don't like to use the pull-tights on heavy bikes like the hyper, so I bought a set of the ratching ancra's from On Any Moto...
They're absolutely AMAZING.
