This is the info:

APTC SLIPPER CLUTCH (DRY) WITH SINTERED FRICTION PLATES - APTC clutch for Ducati motorcycles has been designed by Adler's R&D Dept. APTC is the revolutionary worldwide patented system which combines a slipper clutch with the power torque technology.
The virtual elimination of rear wheel hopping while downshifting is a primary feature of the APTC.
Another characteristic of the APTC is the relative ease by which the clutch lever can be pulled.
Ducati riders will certainly appreciate the way that the APTC facilitates the rapid acceleration of the bike when coming out of a turn.

For 1098/1198: http://www.store.commoto.com/adler-a...8-p-29614.html
For all other Ducati dry clutch models: http://www.store.commoto.com/adler-a...h-p-29615.html

Some more info for you:

50% less clutch pull -
Other slipper clutches have higher than standard clutch spring load. There is no need for a slave cylinder with this setup!

NO clutch lever vibration -
You won't be able to tell that the APTC mechanism is working... no funky vibrations through the lever like you get with most other slipper clutches.

No special tools required (that aren't included) -
This clutch is easily installable with standard mechanics tools.

Adjustability -
Included are 3 sets of shims to adjust the amount of engine braking that you desire. Very detailed setup instructions are included too so you aren't left in the dark. We are available for setup help as well or we'll install it for you here at the shop.

How it works -
This clutch uses a double hub design with helix profile using 4 opening springs and 4 closing springs. Most slippers use 6 ball bearings on ramps and the single inner hub which moves on the ball bearings. This requires periodic disassemble and lubrication. Not a bad design or function, but we believe this clutch design to be superior due to the design, ease of adjustability, lack of maintenance required and very high quality craftsmanship.

Any more feeedback on these units in street use?

I'm looking for the right slipper for my 1198S, street and some track day use and really like the look of this clutch, especially the NCR version of it, but would love to know more about the following:

- I have never liked the "let the lever all the way out before anything happens" feel of the M695/M696. Does anyone know if this unit produces a similar feel when used in a superbike application?

- in the images of this clutch, there are those bolts or something sticking up beyond the spring caps. Perhaps a dumb observation, but are there clutch cover clearance problems with these?

Any real-world info appreciated...
