New SpeedyMoto Crash Protection - Sliders.
SpeedyMoto has upped their game on the big bore Ducati superbike rear axle sliders. They are now available in this second version which allows double sided rear stands to be used to properly support the rear of the motorcycle for installing tire warmers and chain maintenance.
Early 07'1098's have an axle that measures 42.7mm on both left and right sides. Later models 2007 1/2 and newer have a thicker left side axle with a 40mm ID and the right side is 42.7mm. If you have a 2007 please double check your left side axle before you order.
Checkout the following links for the full set of sliders: Front Axle Sliders, Frame Sliders Standard, Frame Sliders Under the Bodywork, Rear Sliders large axle diameter and Rear Sliders small axle diameter.
Thanks to SpeedyMoto's dedicated efforts to the Monster lineup we can now offer a full set of sliders for the new Monster 696! This is a very cost effective way to save your motorcycle in a low speed fall or garage knock over!
As with all of SpeedyMoto's frame and axle sliders the sliding material is made from high quality HDPE plastic, which will help the kit slide and deform rather than grip and flip or brake! An anodized billet rod holds the two sliders firmly together. The anodizing won't corrode and gives the kit longevity.
Checkout the following links for the full set of sliders: Front Axle Sliders, Frame Sliders and Rear Axle Sliders.
We will have the new sliders in stock soon and we already have the frame sliders and front axle sliders in stock ready to ship!

How exactly would that work on a SSSA?

Yeah, someone caught that earlier... I stole the listing from the spools and forgot to take the bit about the tire and gear changing out - the original text was from a double sides swing arm with spools where you can change the tire and hearing while on a stand.

Desmoworks discount
Can we get a discount if we buy the set of 1098 crash protection (frame sliders, front axle sliders, and rear axle sliders)?
BTW, do you have bar-end sliders also?

They are already discounted from retail 5-8%. I don't offer any further discounts at this time.

Will these work on the 848, or do they make some that will?

Right now they just have the regular sliders... not the kind that accepts a spooled rear stand.
Here they are for the 848: http://www.desmoworks.com/index.php?...roducts_id=380
