How-To Install a Nautilus Air Horn on Ducati 1098
I just uploaded my own How-To Install a Nautilus Air Horn on a Ducati 1098 to my website...
Yea yea..you track riders shouldn't waste your time but anyone riding their bike on the street might just find it helpful... Have you tried your 1098 horn lately... It's virtually worthless..Be afraid..
Hope you enjoy...

Correction
Well guys.. I wanted to drop in and mention a correction to my How-to on the 1098 Nautilus horn install..
I rode the Cherohala skyway with some buds yesterday and noticed that my temps were running about 15 degrees higher than before..What the f#@*?!
I can ONLY atribute this to the fact that where I had the horn installed was too close to the right side fan.. I think what happened was... As the fan sucks air through the radiator, the horn was blocking the exit heat's path and making the heat NOT flow out as quickly as it should.. It's the ONLY variable.. so...
I just changed my how-to to show a new, lower position which works every bit as well and now the horn is nowhere near the fan... Wiring didn't change.. just horn position. We're good now..
PS.. The bottom picture showing the horn through the body panel is now wrong. Now you can't really see the horn.. I just haven't taken any new pics with the bike reassembled.

I haven't touched my horn one time on any of my bikes, didn't even know we had one.

You should try it on the track sometime! People get RTF outta the way! Of course, Race Control generally comes to your pit later and threatens you with all kinds of nastyness...but it's all good!

Shit, I don't want them bozo's at willow to crash in front of me because of a horn! Perhaps I should point at me, attach the trigger to the brake lever and every single time I pull the lever, it sounds the horn. This way I can learn how to brake less!

He he...good idea. Maybe just hook up the 12 volt right to your brake lever. That'll teach you to get off the brakes early and scrub speed with the front wheel!!

I thought I had to use my horn once but by the time I found it the problem was gone by 20 seconds.

It's funny when you do this to your buddies car. Even better is do it after he passes out at your place during the party. All the way home, he's like WTF
