Motor Bearing Cross Reference

Since I have rebuilt my 748 into a 853 I have had a few members ask about the bearings. I replaced all my bearings. All the 748s use the same bearings. I would imagine the 916/996 would also. I have updated Ducati part numbers for all the bearings. Verify by your parts catalog or by the bearing part numbers.

I purchased all of my bearings from a company that bought out King Bearing. Applied Industrial Technology is nationwide and stocked most bearings. Some were special ordered and took a week. Buying through Applied is considerably less than buying through Ducati. The bearings are all RHP or SKF precision.

Here are the updated Ducati P/N that correlate to the attached file of the 748 half cases:

4 - 751913380 (mains)
7 - 757911747 (output shaft)
9 - 757911747 (shift drum) (I need to double check that number)
12 - 70250081A (timing layshaft)
14 - 751433380 (mains)
30 - 757941542 (timing layshaft)

SKF/RHP P/N

4 - RHP 7307X2TB
14 - RHP 7207X2ETN9
7 - SKF 6305JEM OR 6305C3
9 - SKF 6003JEM OR 6003C3
12 - SKF NU203ECP
30 - SKF RNU202ECP

Just wan't to state that the Ducati number 70250081A corresponds to SKF 6003. The posting above is not correct.
