Recover Seat

My father would say to me you got your Bum shot off in the war( no Meat).

My seat has been a little hard on long rides so had time tonight to play.

Steps:

1. Pull old staples out from mid rim on the seat.

2. Draw up your lines on what will work for you.

3. Electric fishing knife works great but any bread knife and fishing knife will work. Take your time! Count your fingers from time to time.

4. Newer foams today make a Big diff on your Bum, cut your New seat out with the old cut out upside down.

5. Speed Tape.

6. Don't forget your plastic for those rainy day rides.

7. Recover, done. I also lowered mine some its best to try it before covering it back. Better to "cut twice then once"

Went for a ride last night and let me say that it was so much better with the New foam in the seat!!

What did you use & where did you get the new foam? Thinking of doing a similar project.
