Magnum Spider 8.1 Sz Urban for street riding
I need some advice on riding boots. I’m having trouble with wearing my motorcycle boots because I’m not able to flex my foot and they’re just damn ugly. I sometime like to wear something that looks stylish with jeans and also help in riding protection.
Will the Magnum Spider 8.1 Sz Urban offer good protection for street riding?

The protection you need in riding boots centers around impact protection at the toes, heel, and ankle. They've also got to be fairly light in weight. This is important when you tumble.
Those don't look like a good choice to me.

Well, they do have good ankle and heel protection, just none in the toe area, but they also offer other styles with a composite toe…
The Magnum boots look to have better protection then some of the street riding boots on the market.

If you don't really value your foot in the event of a crash, by all means wear the Magnums ( which are total ASS btw for a LEO boot).
Wear a MOTORCYCLE specific boot, not a pseudo hiking boot.

I’ll just stick to my SIDI Canyon Gore boots… I guess my search for that perfect dress boot continues!

Well, I finally found the perfect boot to wear when the wife and I are going out for the afternoon. I didn’t realize SIDI made a mid height leather boot (sidi sport rain boot) until today and for only 200.00 bucks, so ended up buying a pair. Hell, with a little polish these boots are nice enough to wear on casual Fridays!
So glad I didn’t buy those tactical boots… Thanks guys!
