Go Pro HD is quite good for the price.

Tips: spend some time looking at videos on manufacturers sites and checking the specs as they can vary. Price isn't always a good indicator of how good the actual camera is. See what mounts you can get for whatever camera you're thinking about buying and what users are saying about them.

Kmn5 you should listen to Rodericb, any man that needs a helmet scraper is bound to be knowledgeable about helmet cams.

Seriously though, we have the Go Pro, we also have an Oregon scientific, husband thinks the sound is not as good as it could be on either of them, but he is very happy with the quality of the footage.

Helmet camera | Sports camera | Head camera | Helmet cam | Bullet camera

I've been using the above dog cam. Works very good. Can stick the cam on your helmet, but it is much better to stick it on the bike.

Varifocal DVR 225 is my helmet bike cam

I currently use the adrenaline systems dvr 225 and varifocal cam with great results. I am able to change the view angle. The DVR itself is super light and easy to use. After a few months it has given me great service. Check it out here:

I used their moto mount to mount my cam to the bike:

You should go for a HD camera - the following table compares the main features of three of the best that are available at the moment; the GoPro HD, Drift HD170 and ContourHD - Comparison of HD Helmet Cameras

HD 295 adrenaline systems cam

I upgraded my adrenaline systems to HD DVR 295. The video quality is awesome with super easy mounting, weight and flexibility. I am able to review my footage without having to plug into a computer. I love being able to mount and adjust without trial and error.
Check it out:
