Just a heads up for those in the market for new helmet. New Enough has a closeout on the old model (101) carbon fiber helmets. Very limited selection remains. I got the green size large delivered for $158.40.

I picked up whatever color they had because I was planning on painting it anniversary red anyway. Turns out this thing is quite good looking as it is. My better half says to just leave it alone, don't paint it. First time in quite a while I've owned a helmet without any red in it. I think I'll paint the vent pieces a mat black.

I got a chance to ride with my new helmet today.

What a difference in comfort over my Shoei RF1000. Feels a little lighter in hand but much lighter on my head at speed. Much less turbulence and buffeting around my head = much less fatigue.

I can't believe I'm happy with a helmet that I didn't pay much for. I've always worn Shoei and paid a good price for them ($400.00+).

The helmet is 2 years new so I can only wear it for 3 more (shelf life you know). What a great deal. Fred
