Riding Jeans or Pants w/ Armor recommendation?

I'm looking for a riding pants or jeans with kevlar and knee armor. Anyone know and recommend a model? I am looking for something that looks like regular jeans or pants that would blend in when I go to class at the uni or when I go out. I like the looks of my Icon Super Duty cargo pants but it does not have knee armor.

I am paranoid about my knees so have spent countless hours searching and searching for such a thing. My main problem is that generally the damn things are going to be too short in the leg.

I do own a pair of Draggin's and yes, they had to be made for me, they ended up adding 4 inches to the standard leg length. But the optional knee armour adheres with velcro and I would prefer it in a pocket, so it didn't chafe my knee caps.

Kushitani make a pair of leather denim look jeans http://www.kushitani.com/kushitani-w...tslexjeans.htm which they claim to be waterproof.

Esquad were making for Ducati, but aren't any longer and whilst Pro Italia were stocking them they don't and now have something called Sartso which claim to have a pocket for armour on the knee, which sounds interesting.

You wouldn't think it would be so hard. I spoke to Draggin about putting a pocket in and they said it was too hard to gauge where your knee was one wonders how the manufacturers of leathers manage then.

Yes, I'm a bit worried about my knees as well. I went for a pair of Alpinestars Rodeo denim pants.
Good knee protection with pads in external pockets and are long in the leg. But a bit thin around the arse as far as protection goes.
Not available in Australia.

Very interested in the Kushitani's but can't find a price on their website. Who sells their gear?

Someone needs to make a pair of jeans with Kevlar lining and some armor in the knees and hips. And, they need to be somewhere in the neighborhood of $100-150. Until they do I'll be wearing my Alpinestars leathers.

Thank you everyone for their insightful inputs. I'm glad I'm not the only one looking for a riding pants that would blend in at work, school, restaurant, mall, etc and that has Kevlar reinforcements and knee armor.
