T-rex stands...
Well....I purchased both the front j-hook stand and the rear stand.....The rear
stand was ok...The polyurethane spindle if you will was so tight... i was late for work because it would not come out... I had to pound it out with my fist.
So then the front stand..The j-hooks would not fit in between the forks....once it did the hooks would not grab the triple clamp...I explained the situation....I was told and quote...Get some wood..rubber mallet..and hit it till
it fits...The finish will crack but the metal will hold...I replied with laughter...
They sent me a second j-hook..This one did fit in between the forks but the hooks just barley grabbed on to the triple clamp..at one point it slipped off and slammed into the fender....
I have asked for a full refund..They have agreed.
would not recommend.

T-Rex Stands
I have been using the T-Rex stands for a couple years now....
I have a 1996 900SSCR and a 2005 ST3.
I would not recomend the stands be used on an ST or heavy touring type bike.
I was doing some long term work over the winter on my SS and just happenned to check in on the bike ....what I saw caused the hair on the back of my neck to stand straight up!!
The brackets on the rear stand were bending from the weight of the bike!!!
WHAT TF?????
I can only say I was pretty suprised!
And I would say Pit Bull if anyone asked what stands I would recomend...
And I still use the T-Rex...but I had Gussets welded to them for some extra strength...Nver had issues with the front stand..

I was given a t-rex rear stand and front axle stand with a bike I bought.
The rear stand was so flimsy and poorly done I gave it away. The front axle stand is ok, but nothing to write home about. Better to spend the extra $$ and get pitbull or other quality stand. Cheap stands are the way to end up with falling ducs!
