Shoei NeoTec...due for a refresh?

I'm pondering the purchase of a Shoei modular. I like the NeoTec but the design has been around since, I believe, 2012 and my experience with other Shoei's (RF1100, RF1200) is that they evolve and get replaced with new versions, ostensibly because they've improved things. The NeoTec has certainly been around for a while.

If a new model was on its way, the remaining NeoTecs would probably get cheaper - would hate to pay top dollar for a model that would be on its way out shortly thereafter - or I might prefer the new model.

Anyone have any idea when this model will get its next refresh?

Note to Shoei: think about creating some form of chin curtain for your modular that could work around a boom mic! Sprung/hinged? Some kind of slot?

I bought one. Absolutely love it. Can`t remember where I saw the tests on Modular's but the Shoei was a 98% for staying closed in a crash.
Also bought a Caberg from Italy. Also good results. Great price. Check out the specs. and see what they sell for.
Also use it with a Scala G4 and the mic, not a problem as it is flexible.

P.S. Do not know if their any new models on the way. For me, round face and a perfect fit. Medium.

Great helmet. Had mine for a while and absolutely love it. I picked it up at the motorcycle show from a texas vendor (I'm in California). Got it for $100 less than retail (at the time), free shipping and no tax.
