Anyone use this style helmet ? Been looking at the icon variant . Looks decent for the price ... Any feedback on these helmets ?

I have one and like it a great deal. Grabs a bit more air than my Xd-3 but it has a larger visor. Face shield works well at high speeds and good air vents overall. Good value.
I suggest fitting without the cheek pads, I got a large when I could have got a medium.

I have the Icon Variant, SUCKS!! The helmet itself works OK, but poorly made, I was on the track when my Icon failed, the visor which is held by 2 screws on the sides of the helmet, & stupid double sided sticky tape in the back of the visor, well at aprox 120mph at the end of a long straight away, the sticky tape broke loose & the visor folded downward covering my vision, AT 120MPH! I almost didn't make that corner! Bad design.........Aloha Alex

I tried to get a new helmet out of them so I could sell it, but they would only replace the visor and some hardware, I never wore the helmet again........Aloha Alex

I tried on a new one from Fly Racing - called the Trekker.
Loved the fit and look of it.
It's very inexpensive, and seems to get decent reviews. Apparently noisy for highway speeds, but that's to be expected.
Price is right, I think I'll pick one up.

Arai xd3 and shoei hornet are the two top of the line dual sport helmets. Arai also makes the Drudi version for Ducati.
