Chinese brake rotors

Seems to fall under the too good to be true column -

Front Brake Disc Rotor for Ducati 749 999 03 2003 | eBay

Anyone running these full floaters on their ride?

I bought a complete of those 'chinese rotors' just to try them out; the build quality is very good, even comparable the Brembo or Galfer or even Braking sets I've seen on some bikes down here.

Haven't had the time to properly test them since bike has no insurance at this time and cannot complete new tag purchasing process <new law says I have to have the insurance at time of purchase> ... so, once I get the insrance and temp permit, I'll start testing !!!

I am conflicted on this whole issue. I have a pair of these on a 2003 749 that I rebuilt which had badly warped Galfers on it. 10k miles later, "0" problems and are still straight. I haven't taken a micrometer to them or checked run-out , but have not "felt" the need for checking them either; they just work and look real nice (have Galfer pads on it). So...do they work? Yes. Do they warp? I haven't been able to warp them. Were they worth the money? Absolutely. Neighbor has them on an ST3s with a few more miles than I mine and going strong.

Nowthen, when I bought them I was going for the cheapest way to get the bike rolling again and not with the politics of Chinese-American trade relations (which arguably neither myself nor the seller of these are necessarily at fault for). A year and change later, still happy with the rotors, not so happy to contribute to the Chinese economy.

It is sad that the purchase decision is no longer just based on the merits of the product in question.

Getting a little preachy in here -

I am looking for opinions on the quality of the rotors; spend your own money where you like and shut the hell up.

What kind of phone do you have, or TV? I'm pretty sure you're already sending money there.

Rotors are way over priced for what they are if you ask me, not a hell of a lot of un-obtainium in them to warrant the $$ a set costs.
just my 2 cents
