Thumbs up

The Variant is a rad helmet... I've been wanting one for a while, however, the Shoei is still serving its purpose.

One for each day of the week? Or one for each girlfriend?

speaking of lids. i fit between a small and a medium... if i get a medium shoei helmet and i want it to fit tighter, is it possible to purchase thicker pads from shoei that will decrease the size a bit?

what i'm currently using. just plain silver in small. it's really snug when putting it on/off but it doesn't bother me at all once it's on.

Arai Is the only helmet I'll ever buy. Let me explain

I bought a RX-7 Corsair Nicky Haden off eBay for 250 with extra shields and cheek pieces.

The helmet had the trim glue problem. I emailed Arai. They said return and they'll repair for free. I also broke the side pod cover trying to remove the shield. I boxed the helmet up, minus shield, and broke side cover. They replaced all trim. Brand new pod side cover. Brand new shield. Boxed it up. FEDEX 2 nd day shipping to me.

All for free.

They sent a brochure explaining in detail why their helmets are so expensive and I must say, I was impressed.

I won't feel bad when I get around to paying full price for my next Arai helmet.
