Looking for helmet

sup? I been riding a bit and im not happy with my open face helmet, i gotta wear shades in the rain and dark. very uncomfortable.. so I'm looking for a full face helmet. preferably black with red outlined flames on it to match the gas tank. much like this one but much cheaper as well.. I cant get his one cuz I dont ride a zuki

so what exactly is your question? you want us to do the research and find the helmet color that you want for you?

ill do you one better, go to your local shop and try some on, go for fit first and then go for graphics. ill even help with some brands...Arai, shoei, Agv. shark.

as for the icon you are looking at, i wouldnt put that thing (regardless of it being for a gsxr) on my cat.

I just bought this: Akuma Helmets Official Website

The photochromic shield allows me to ride without sunglasses. It is incredibly light and, if it fits, very comfortable. Retail is $400.

Went by all the motorcycle stores and found no helmets, HD had a few but they were high dollar. I got tired of looking around and almost gave up til my stepdad said he got his from walmart... (seriously?)

I went by there and tbh they arent that bad for $75, it'll save my neck compared to that loose open-face helmet I had.

I'll add the red flames to it later, maybe to the fenders of the Motorcycle as well

Thanks tho yall

i think you are asking on the wrong forum. most people here spend upwards of 500 on a helmet.

seriously wal mart?

its your head man. and while yes dot approved is good, and there are helmets out there that are snell approved for cheap, but once you put on a upper end helmet and ride with it you will change your mind.

i just spent 900 on a new lid. love it. fit feel comfort protection etc. there is a difference in the quality of a sub par helmet and a top of the line one.
think about it, take the amount of the lid and divide it byt 5 years, cause thats when you are suppose to replace them anyways, and all of a sudden a 500+ helmet isnt that bad.
