Some goodies

So I finally threw down some mods on the Monster. Figured I would throw up some reviews for you guys to check out. I want to give a big thank you to ca-cycleworks.com, bellissimoto.com, monsterparts.com, motodynamic.com, and motomummy.com for the levers. They all had excellent customer service and I couldn't be happier!

I'll start with the levers. They are the shorty style from FP with custom engraving. Thinking of what I wanted on them took way longer than it should have. :laugh I really like these levers for the money. I had ASV's on the R6 and LOVED those, but for the price on these they are definitely worth it. I would still nudge the ASV's a little higher, but if you are just street riding and don't need the folding capabilities and all that jazz, these are perfect. And the engraving is a plus! I also added the Driven grips...which were a pita with the "special" throttle tube on this bike.

Next is the 520 chain setup. I went with the Black EK MVXZ chain, a superlite -1 front sprocket, and a supersprox rear sprocket with the stock tooth count. I also added an Red AEM hub cover. I never new the drivetrain on a Ducati could get so in depth. With having to get the chain, the front sprocket, the rear carrier, the hub cover, and the rear sprocket! This definitely made me miss the ole R6 a bit. Luckily the supersprox rear sprocket combines the carrier and the sprocket into one unit to make things easier/cost effective. I don't have a single complaint with any of these parts. The chain was super easy to break/rivet.

I finally put some protection on her with the speedymoto front, rear, and frame sliders.

I also did a custom tail chop and plate re-locator with some spare aluminum I had laying around. I added the motodynamic tail unit and am very happy I did. This thing is SUPER bright and works great!

Last but not least the Barracuda front turn signals. These things are super bright as well.

And some random pics!
